Be an Oyster for Autism!

Well lets see.... I am a mom of two womderful children one whom is Autistic. I have been married for 15 years to my wonderfrul husband who is my high school sweatheart. Our Son is almost 12 now he was fisrt diagnoised when he was only three. He is what they call "High Functioning" he has alot of the social and emotional problems. He also has sensory issues like most autistic children do. It has taken many years for others to understand him and how he "works" others on the outside just think we can't parent our child but they just don't understand him he can't help they way he is, he didn't ask to be born this way. Luckily as he has gotten older he understands and comprehends very well about his Autism Spectrum Disorder . Everyday is a new challenge and we make it through sometimes in tears sometimes in laughter but he is our lil man and we wouldn't take him any other way.
