Life Development Institute helps adolescents and adults with learning disabilities realize their full potential. LDI (Life Development Institute) helps individuals through several levels in their transition to independent, self-supported living. They offer groupacticities/social events, contact with the community, mentors and role models, individualized programs/instruction, small class size, career planning, team approach to students, work experience and career guidance, community service, interships, job shadows, job placement and residential living. Programs include: the High School Program-a day school or residential living for 18-21 years old with diploma-granting authority; The College Track with computer-based curriculum and credit and non-credit courses offered; Off-campus Carrer Track with internships with local employers; The Employment Track provides on-campus insturction and assistance with job search and work placements.
