I'm Stacey Kirkland.  I'm the proud mother of Quinn- a sweet, handsome,  a low functioning, 14 yr old who lives with Autism.  3 years ago I went to the Tucson Gem Show to buy some silver and turquoise, and came home with thousands of pearls.... born, Oyster 4Autism, a fundraising campaign to raise money for Autism organizations and charities....

joining the difference

i joined "The Difference" community, and I've met some wonderful people. I'm going to be doing some cranial sacral work with quinn, or i should say, trading some massage for some cranial sacral work.  i'm really looking forward to seeing what may come... will post our findings. This is an awesome site. I work at Carson Jr. High as one of the Special Ed teachers and kept seeing the Oysters 4 Autism shirts and had to look it up. He is an awesome kid. Thanks so much for fighting for our kids!!
