Poo at 24hr Fitness

Oh Autism. Last night I heard my name on the intercom at 24 hour fitness.... Stacey Kirkland to the kids club...Stacey Kirkland to the kids club.  So I rushed over.  Quinn was all the way in the back standing in the corner with a big wet spot on his bottom.  I smelled poo. Bad poo.  When I got closer, I could see green slime, down his legs and all over the place.  He was wearing swim shorts, and it was just everywhere.  He was embarassed.  As soon as he saw me he rubbed his belly and said, "It's Ok, it's Ok." and I gave him a hug and said that yes, it's ok. He started to cry and I apologized to the girls in the kids club as we walked out.  I said, "I'm sorry, Quinn doesn't feel good.  I'm really sorry."  When I got back in the car, Tatum told me that he was in the 2 story crawl climber crying for a while, and everyone smelled poo, but didn't know where it came from.  Then Quinn crawled down and it was obvious.  I guess there was poo all over the place. Those poor girls.  When I got home and put Quinn in the shower, I called the girls at the kids club, thanked them for being so nice about it, and told them I'd put Quinn in pull-up next time I brought him.  You see, I've only been a member for about 8 weeks.  I had to get special permission to have Quinn be able to go to kids club because he's over the age limit of 12 (Quinn's 13).  But the thing is he really likes going there.  There's this basketball game in there that he just loves. I ask him if he wants to play basketball, and he always wants to go.  It's like a godsend for me.  I haven't been working out, I've gained 30 lbs, and over the past few months have dropped 15 lbs working out there. Without this kids club set -up, I wouldn't get to workout half as much... and then this happens. I hope we can continue...  And if you're wondering about Quinn... as soon as he took a shower, he was fine. He was once again in good spirits and wanted "apples" from me. When he want's tickles, he says, "apples" because we play a game where I pretend he's food and "eat him up." Another poo episode under my belt.  And once again, all is well.
