Organic

I decided to eat all organic for a month.  My friend Natalie has been all organic for one year and has lost 30 lbs and in her mid 40's says she feels the best that she ever has in her life.. i so want that...I also reading some stuff by Raymond Francis, who is an MIT trained scientist and believes that all of our disease is due to either toxicity or deficiency. He himself claims never to have been sick or to a doctor in over 20 years. I'd like that too.. tells us to eat clean and no dairy, processed flour, or sugar.  Easier said than done, but I'm needing a change, so I'll try... I have been chronically tired and listless... can't seem to muster up the energy for my life.  Looking back, the vast majority of my doctor visits were nothing more than a waste of my money.   I'll try this way.  I went to Whole Foods and got some staples... organic lentils and organic brown rice.  

I found that kale is a favorite, meaty and hearty. I also went to the farmers market and made a huge chopped salad and sprouted some lentils.  Seasoned the salad with lots of lemon, olive oil, sesame oil, and vinegar. delicious. Made enough for the whole week. Put some quinoa in the chopped salad, and some cooked lentils and chick peas. Kids are eating healthy at my house, but dad's house is mostly processed crap.  No talking sense to him.  Cinnamon Toast Crunch for breakfast... I don't even want to know... I tried to send food with Quinn, but Tate told me he didn't use it anyway.  These are the co-parenting challenges I'm facing and many others face too.  What I'm hoping is that my drastic change will inspire my ex to change too. That is at least my ideal dream come true. We'll see and I'll keep posted on my progress.  

So far I have to report that I'm feeling a little moody and I have a dull headache.  I'm also taking a Garden of Life whole food raw vitamin/mineral supplement.  It is one of the best rated vitamins as it is all food based, organic, and mostly raw.  So, I'm sure I'm doing some detoxing too, and that can make one moody and headache-y.

I will bring along with my some organic hard boiled eggs, walnuts, chopped salad and apples if I go out today. I can't be caught out without food... that could spell disaster.
